6 DAYS. MAASAI MARA AND THE LAKES.

Day 1: Nairobi/Maasai Mara
Leave Nairobi by an open roof topped safari van going south through the Great Rift Valley. A short stop at the viewpoint of the Rift Valley to take photos. Hot lunch will be served on the way in Narok town in a restaurant. Drive from Narok to climb the Western Wall entering Hemingway's "Serengeti Plains". Arrive at the Mara Springs Camp; relax before an evening game drive from1600hrs to1830hrs. Dinner and overnight camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
This is a full day in the Maasai Mara game reserve; this is the famous home of the Big five. For those who have the chance to visit between July and September, they enjoy the spectacular wildebeest migration. You have an option of 2 game drives or a full day with packed lunch, a great chance to visit Mara River for hippos and crocodiles. All meals and overnight camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara
Another full day in the Mara. Early morning game drive before breakfast 0630hrs to 0930hrs. After a late breakfast, you have some time to relax or visit the Maasai village. An evening game drive between 1600hrs and 1830hrs. Dinner and overnight camp.

Day 4: Maasai Mara/Nakuru
Take a pre-breakfast game drive, 0630hrs to 0900hrs, late breakfast before leaving for Nakuru. A picnic lunch will be served on the way. Lake Nakuru is a bird's paradise as well as a rhino sanctuary. Besides the birds, Lake Nakuru also offers a wide variety of small game such as Water Buck, Impala, Buffalo and Gazelle. Since Lake Nakuru is near the town we have an option of camping or staying in a budget hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru/ Lake Baringo
After an early breakfast, game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park the whole of the morning (0700hrs to 1200hrs). After a hot lunch in a restaurant, proceed to Lake Baringo. Boat trips are available to view birds and hippos that inhabit this lake. Dinner and overnight at Mrs.
Roberts' Camp.

Day 6: Lake Bogoria / Nairobi
After breakfast, you can go for a nature walk before driving to Lake Bogoria to see the hot springs. You will enjoy the hot lake and enjoy a game drive as well. Stop for lunch enroute and drive to Nairobi to arrive in the evening.
