KENYA LODGE
ITINERARIES
3 DAYS MAASAI MARA.
Day 1:
Depart Nairobi at 0800hrs and drive down the Great Rift Valley with a
stop at the viewpoint to take photos. Climb to the western wall of the
Great Rift Valley and get to Maasai Mara game reserve. Check in at the
Mara Sopa for lunch. Relax and enjoy an afternoon game drive from 1600hrs
to 1830hrs when you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
This is a full
day in the Maasai Mara. You have an option of 2 game drives; one at 0800hrs
to 0900hrs and another pm game drive at 1600hrs to 1830hrs. Option 2 is
taking picnic lunch from the lodge and leave for a full day game drive
from 0800hrs to 1700hrs. Dinner and overnight lodge.
Early morning game drive before breakfast at 0630hrs to 900hrs. This is good time to see the animals as they start the day as well as the sunrise. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out the lodge and drive back to Nairobi to arrive by 1700hrs.
NB. The 3 days road
package is available to the following lodges Keekorok, Sopa Sarova, Serena,
Fig Tree, Siana Springs, Kichwa Tembo, Base Camp and any other lodge of
personal choice.
Flying packages are available to the same lodges.
Day 1:
Depart Nairobi at 0800hrs after breakfast and drive down the Great Rift
Valley with a short stop at the viewpoint to take photos. Drive further
to arrive at Keekorok lodge in the Maasai Mara for lunch. Relax and later
enjoy an afternoon game drive from 1600hrs to 1830hrs. Dinner and overnight
at Keekorok Lodge.
Day 2:
Full day in this spectacular park which is the famous home for the big
five, with two game drives, one in the morning and another in the evening.
There is also an option of a full day drive with packed lunch from the
lodge. A short visit to the Maasai Village is also possible at an extra
cost. Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge.
Day 3:
Leave Maasai Mara after breakfast with a game drive enroute out of the
park. Drive from the western wall of the Rift Valley to the floor of the
Rift Valley to arrive L. Nakuru in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru lodge.
Relax and then later enjoy an evening game drive to see the rhinos both
black and white. You also have a chance to see thousands of pink flamingos
and other birds. Dinner and overnight at L. Nakuru Lodge.
Day 4:
Pre-breakfast game drive 0630hrs to 0900hrs. Return to the lodge for breakfast,
then check out the lodge and drive out of the park with a game drive enroute.
Drive back to Nairobi to arrive by 1500hrs.
